I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I approach therapy from a Contemporary Psychodynamic orientation and utilize the therapeutic relationship to alter struggles in relationships, career, and life. When tailoring the treatment specifically to you and your needs, I may also borrow tools from other evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and meditation. I am most effective with young adults, adults, and seniors in individual psychotherapy. I have worked successfully with those exploring issues related to identity or chronic illness. I am comfortable and experienced in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and those who identify with nontraditional roles, relationships, and lifestyles. I value the unique differences that you bring to the therapeutic relationship.
I am a member of the American Psychological Association and serve on the board of the Colorado Psychological Association. I also serve as the CEO of Maria Droste Counseling Center. My availability is very limited for taking on new clients, and I often refer to my esteemed colleagues in The Therapist Group and the clinical training programs at Maria Droste Counseling Center.
